Privacy Policy

This policy covers restaurant owners and anyone else who visits antojo.ai or contacts us about our service. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have.
Who this covers
Antojo.ai ("Antojo.ai", "we", "us") sells online ordering software and setup services to independent restaurants. This policy applies to the antojo.ai website and to the conversations we have with restaurant owners by WhatsApp, text message, email and video call.
It does not cover the people who order food from a restaurant. Diners order on the restaurant's own site, which has its own privacy policy. It also does not cover the restaurant's own Stripe account, which is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
What we collect
What you send us. When you message us on WhatsApp or by text, we receive your phone number, your name as shown in WhatsApp, and what you write, including your restaurant's name and location. When you email us, we receive your email address and your message. If you ask for a video call, we arrange it over the same chat and keep the notes we take during it.
When you become a customer. We collect what we need to deliver the setup and the monthly service: your business name and address, the owner's name and contact details, your menu and photos, your domain, and your billing details. When we open your Stripe account with you, Stripe collects your business and identity information under its own privacy policy; we see the account status and payment information Stripe shares with platforms so we can support you.
How you use antojo.ai. We use PostHog to understand how visitors use this site: which pages are viewed, which links are clicked, the approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser and device type. PostHog sets a cookie and similar browser storage to tell visits apart.
Advertising measurement. We use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram bring restaurant owners to this site and to show our ads to people who have visited it. The Meta Pixel sets an advertising cookie and sends Meta the pages you visit here and standard browser information. Meta may combine this with your Meta account under Meta's own privacy policy.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records basic request information, such as your IP address, the page requested and the time, to serve the site and to protect it from abuse.
How we use it
- To answer your message and, if you want, to schedule a visit or a video call.
- To deliver the setup and the monthly service, and to bill you for them.
- To understand how visitors use this site and improve it.
- To measure our advertising and reach restaurant owners who have shown interest.
- To keep the site secure and to comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.) carries our chat messages under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
- PostHog processes site analytics for us. Meta processes the Meta Pixel data described above.
- Stripe processes payments and holds the restaurant's own account.
- Our hosting, email and domain providers, which handle data only to provide their services to us.
- When the law requires it, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
Your choices
Cookies and tracking. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them. You can opt out of Meta's ad personalisation in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
Messages. You can stop messaging us at any time. Tell us on WhatsApp or by email and we will not contact you again unless you are a customer with an active service.
Access and deletion. Email support@antojo.ai to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted. We will delete your contact details and messages, except what we must keep for billing or legal reasons if you are or were a customer.
How long we keep it
Messages and contact details from prospective customers are kept until you ask us to delete them. Customer records are kept for as long as you are a customer and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Analytics data is kept by PostHog and Meta according to their retention settings.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or messaging service can be perfectly secure.
Children
This site is for restaurant owners. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
